Innovative Grants

SAVE THE DATE- Innovative Grant Workshop September 20
 
PWCS staff interested in applying for an Innovative Grant from SPARK, the Education Foundation for PWCS are encouraged to attend the upcoming grant workshop scheduled for September 20 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Kelly Leadership Center. The course reviews tips and suggestions for writing a winning proposal for an Innovative Grant. Best practices will be shared, as well as samples of proposals from past grant recipients.

Each year, SPARK funds a variety of new and innovative programs that enrich the lives of the more than 90,000 school children in Prince William County. These programs are not normally possible through limited school budgets.

Through its Innovative Grants Program, the Foundation invests in programs that directly and measurably impact student achievement These programs may impact a single classroom, a team of teachers, an individual school, or the entire School Division. Whatever their size, scope, or purpose, they represent a profound belied that every child can be successful.
